Despite the fact that amonst the 3 of us in the office where I work (vehicle importer) we have 4 VG30 equipped cars in various guises, I have somehow got the nickname "VG30-boy". So, I get in to work and the guys tell me theres something I HAVE to see, so they show me some pics of this:
 
So I'm thinking uhuh, have these guys lost the plot? Then, BAM:
Hehehe oh yeah. How nuts is that? Owner claims 500 - 600hp, engine built by Top Fuel. Including the conversion and other mods the seller claims he's spent US$45,000 on it. Can you imagine turning up to the drags in that thing, everyone has a laugh, then you do a whopping big burnout and an 11 second quarter? Awesome. It's a rear wheel drive (yes, I got REALLY excited at the prospect too) Nissan Terano.
I am deadly serious when I tell you this car is for sale in Japan now for US$3,100. One turbo needs a rebuild though.
Given all that room you could also put some REALLY big turbos on it if you wanted to >:-)
